How can we help you?
The underlying connection was closed
Problem
This error may occur due to various reasons; one among them may be due to large items migration. Migration of those items need more time and there is a chance of destination connection being closed.
Solution
If you are authorized to control the server configurations
- Add bigger value to the connection timeout for incoming data transfers (Refer the below image for IIS. Set the value greater than 120).
- Increase the size limit which can be framed through the API.
To change the timeout value:
- Open the IIS manager (run -> inetmgr.exe).
- Browse the default website or the Exchange website on the left side pane.
- Right-click on Manage Website, then select Advanced Settings, expand limits. Increase the Connection Time-out for wich the default value is set to 120 seconds.
Try to perform migration again.
