2. Steps to export email data from OST to PST

   EdbMails can reinstate your Outlook mailbox data from Exchange server crash, Outlook errors, virus infections and ransomware attacks.      • Launch the application and click 'Login' or 'Start Your Free Trial'.

       

     • Select the recovery and conversion technique as 'OST to PST, OST to Office 365 and OST to Exchange'.
   • Step 2: Select the offline OST file to extract and convert
     • Before starting the repair and conversion operation, take a copy of the OST file as a backup.
     • Browse and select the Outlook OST from your computer that you want to convert.

3. Convert the OST file to Outlook PST format

   • Now, add a suitable label to the export job for identification, which enables you to quickly load the application’s settings for future export operations.

     

   • You can view all the labels by clicking 'View Log' that contains all the details of the previous operation.
   • Verify the mailboxes and folder that you have selected for the export. Select the Action as 'Export' and start the OST to PST conversion.

     

   • If the PST location has not been selected before, the application prompts you to select the export location.
   • Ensure that you have enough free disk space to store the PST files and select the PST location where you want to save the exported data.

     

   • That's it! During export operation, you can view the progress as shown below where you can also pause and resume the export.

     

   An appropriate message will be displayed on completion of the export operation. Finally, verify the exported items with the log report. Start Microsoft Outlook and add the exported PST file to verify the items such as emails, calendars, contacts, notes and so on.
