How do I migrate from Google Workspace to Office 365?

Is Modern Authentication (OAuth 2.0) required for the Office 365 side, or can Basic Auth be used?
EdbMails uses OAuth 2.0 modern authentication for Office 365 connections, matching Microsoft's own security requirements, since Basic Authentication has been deprecated by Microsoft for Exchange Online in most tenants.
Does migration preserve email read/unread status and flags when moving from G Suite to Office 365?
