PST Migration Tool

A Practical Way to Move PST Archives to Office 365

Moving archived Outlook emails into Microsoft 365 required careful planning on our end, especially since we had multiple PST files involved. EdbMails made the source selection and destination mailbox configuration straightforward, and we were able to work through it without much back and forth. After the migration, we verified that all messages and attachments were accessible, and nothing was missing. It handled the volume well and gave us a clean result on the first attempt.

Helpful Workflow for PST to Microsoft 365 Migration

Migrating PST files meant more than just transferring data, we needed to be clear about which archives were being processed and exactly where the content would land. EdbMails walked us through file selection and mailbox mapping in a logical order, which reduced a lot of the back-and-forth we had expected. Once the migration completed, we ran through the post-migration checks and confirmed that everything had reached the right destination. The whole process was more straightforward than we anticipated.

A Useful Option for Older Outlook Archives

We had several older PST files containing years of business correspondence that we needed to make available in Microsoft 365. Before committing to EdbMails, we looked closely at how it handled our existing archive files and the destination mailbox configuration. Both were covered clearly, and setup did not take as long as we expected. Post-migration verification was important to us given that the data was needed for everyday work, and everything checked out without any issues.

Managing Multiple PST Files for Microsoft 365

We had several PST archives across the organization that needed to be consolidated into Microsoft 365, and managing them individually would have taken considerably longer. EdbMails gave us a structured process for selecting the files, assigning destination mailboxes, and monitoring progress throughout. We migrated multiple archives in a single session, and the progress tracking made it easy to stay on top of each one. The scale of the project felt manageable from start to finish.

Email Verification Is an Important Part of Migration

After moving our PST data to Microsoft 365, the first thing we did was verify that all expected emails and attachments were available in the destination mailbox. We also checked the folder organization, since the archive had a structure we relied on for day-to-day reference. Everything was intact. the folder hierarchy matched the original, messages were accessible, and no attachments were missing. We did not encounter any issues during verification, which gave us confidence that the migration had completed cleanly.

A Structured Approach to PST Migration

Planning our Microsoft 365 migration was much easier because the steps in EdbMails were clearly laid out from the start. We prepared the source PST files, configured the destination mailbox, and processed everything without needing to stop and figure out the next step. The progress monitoring kept us informed throughout, and the final report gave us a clear picture of what had been migrated. There was one point where we needed to re-check a mailbox mapping, but that was straightforward to correct before rerunning.

A Practical Solution for Business Email Archives

Our business email archives contained correspondence that employees still needed access to after we moved to Microsoft 365, so getting the migration right mattered. We evaluated EdbMails specifically for mailbox mapping, data selection, and post-migration verification, and it handled all three well within our archive structure. The mapping options were flexible enough to match our existing setup, and verifying the results afterward was straightforward. It met our requirements without needing any workarounds.

Useful Workflow for Preparing PST Data

We were preparing our archived Outlook data for Microsoft 365 started with identifying the right PST files and deciding which destination mailboxes should receive the content. EdbMails made the configuration straightforward. each step was clearly presented, which helped us organize the work before starting the actual migration. Once it was completed, we checked that the selected data had come through correctly, and everything appeared as expected. For an administrator handling this kind of project, the setup process is well thought out.

Keeping Track of the PST Migration Process

During our PST-to-Microsoft 365 migration, having clear visibility into the progress made a noticeable difference in how we managed the work. EdbMails showed us what had completed and flagged anything that needed attention, which made it easier to plan our follow-up checks without guessing. Given the number of files we were handling, the status reporting was particularly useful for staying organized. There were no surprises at the end, and the final report confirmed everything we needed to close out the project.

A Practical Option for Moving Archived Emails

Keeping older emails accessible in Microsoft 365 was important for our ongoing operations, so we needed the migration to be thorough and reliable. EdbMails gave us a clear way to select the archive data, configure the destination mailbox, and verify the migrated content afterward. Our source files had some inconsistencies from years of use, but the tool handled them without any significant issues. The one improvement I would suggest is a more granular filter for selecting specific date ranges within a PST, but overall it delivered exactly what we needed.
