Rated 5 out of 5 The data transfer could continue without a complete cutover
We wanted to keep the existing environment available while preparing the new one. The incremental approach gave us a way to continue transferring changes rather than requiring an immediate all-or-nothing switch.

Rated 5 out of 5 The migration wasn't limited to standard user accounts
Our Microsoft 365 environment included different types of mailboxes. Having support for shared, archive, group, and resource mailboxes meant we could account for those within the broader migration project.

A few users had requirements that didn't match our standard migration setup. The combination of custom mapping and filtering gave us enough flexibility to handle those accounts separately.

Some of the mail we needed to move was several years old. It was useful having a migration option that could handle historical mailbox content instead of limiting us to recent messages.

Rated 5 out of 5 Streamlined our M365 migration and saved us countless hours
The software is incredibly straightforward. You point it at the source .edb file, authenticate with your Office 365 tenant, map the mailboxes, and let it run. The preview feature before migration is a fantastic touch, allowing us to verify we had the right data before committing to the transfer. It handled our migration scale very efficiently.

Rated 5 out of 5 Practical Control and Visibility for Exchange and Microsoft 365 Migration
I like that EdbMails Office 365 Migration allows me to have a significant level of control during the migration process. It's great to be able to select specific mailboxes and decide precisely what data to include. The feature that lets me monitor the migration progress is particularly useful from an Exchange administration perspective. I find the ability to apply filtering options very helpful, especially when I need to handle migrations selectively rather than moving everything at once. Additionally, the initial setup was fairly straightforward, especially if you're familiar with Exchange and Microsoft 365 administration.

Rated 5 out of 5 Zero-Downtime Microsoft 365 Migration with Secure OAuth 2.0 Authentication
As a specialty dental clinic, our email system is the lifeblood of our practice we use it daily for patient appointment confirmations, specialist referrals, and receiving digital X-rays from general dentists. We used EdbMails to migrate our Microsoft 365 environment during a recent organizational restructuring. What I liked best was the Incremental Migration (delta sync) feature. It allowed us to migrate our primary and shared mailboxes (like our frontdesk and referrals accounts) over the weekend while the clinic was closed, and then run a quick sync on Monday morning to catch any weekend emails. This gave us true zero downtime. Furthermore, the software uses OAuth 2.0 modern authentication, which is crucial for us to maintain HIPAA compliance and ensure patient data is securely transferred.

Rated 5 out of 5 Handled Our Microsoft 365 Migration More Smoothly Than We Expected
We used EdbMails to migrate around 180 mailboxes to Microsoft 365 after evaluating a couple of other options. What impressed us most was that the migration process remained stable throughout the project. The mailbox mapping was straightforward, and we were able to run a few pilot migrations before moving everyone else. Incremental migration was particularly useful because we could synchronize new emails before the final cutover, which helped reduce downtime for users. The migration logs were detailed enough to quickly identify any skipped items, and the overall interface was easy for our team to work with without spending days learning the software.

Rated 5 out of 5 Really liked the pause and resume option
Our migration window wasn't continuous, so being able to pause a running task and continue later was useful. We didn't have to restart the migration from the beginning. Combined with incremental migration, it gave us more flexibility when working around our organization's schedule.

We were expecting our Microsoft 365 migration to involve a lot of manual preparation and scripting. EdbMails gave us a much simpler workflow. Rated 5 out of 5 Tenant to Tenant Migration Done Right, 150 Mailboxes, Zero Headaches
As the company Co-Founder, I'm usually overseeing these projects rather than running them hands on, but I kept a close eye on this one given the business sensitivity around a tenant to tenant migration. EdbMails gave my team a structured process that was easy to follow and monitor from the top down. The delta migration feature was something I particularly appreciated, it meant we could keep both tenants in sync during the transition period and cut over cleanly without a hard downtime window. 150 mailboxes completed without a single escalation reaching my desk, which is honestly the metric I care about most. The audit trail and logs also made it easy to sign off on completion with confidence.

As an IT Manager overseeing a 300 mailbox migration from Office 365 to IMAP, my biggest concern was keeping the project on track without pulling my team away from everything else they had going on. EdbMails made that possible. The migration ran in the background without constant supervision, I'd check in periodically and everything was progressing exactly as expected. What genuinely impressed me was the data integrity side of things. Emails, attachments, folder structures all transferred correctly. Not a single user came back saying something was missing or out of place which for a rollout this size is a result I'll take every time. The reporting also gave me enough visibility to keep stakeholders updated without having to dig around for information.

We have team members who correspond in multiple languages and the emails often contain special characters and non-english formatting that tends to break in conversion tools. EdbMails handled all of it without any character encoding issues. every email arrived in outlook exactly as it had been composed in lotus notes, correct characters, correct formatting, original layout preserved. for a multilingual team that detail matters more than most migration checklists acknowledge.

Rated 5 out of 5 Selective conversion saved us from migrating fifteen years of irrelevant archive
Not everything in those old nsf files needed to come across to outlook. some of it was genuinely ancient history that nobody would ever look at again. EdbMails let me filter by date range and select specific folders for conversion rather than forcing an all or nothing approach. we migrated the last five years of active email and left the older archive separately. the resulting pst files were manageable, outlook stayed fast and users weren't overwhelmed by decades of old email dumped into their inbox.

Rated 5 out of 5 Apple mail to outlook migration that actually worked first time
Switching from a mac to a windows environment meant moving years of apple mail history to outlook. every guide i found online made it sound complicated and most tools i tried before edbmails either failed to load the files or produced a pst that outlook couldn't open properly. edbmails loaded the apple mail mbox files without any issues and the resulting pst imported into outlook perfectly on the first attempt. a problem i had been avoiding for months was solved in one afternoon.

Rated 5 out of 5 The preview stopped me from converting the wrong folder
I had multiple mbox files from different accounts and wasn't entirely sure which contained the emails i needed. the built-in viewer let me browse each file and see the actual email contents before committing to any conversion. i found the right folder, confirmed the contents were what i was looking for and converted just that one. without the preview i would have converted everything blindly and spent time sorting through the results. that verification step before exporting is something i now consider essential.

Rated 5 out of 5 the incremental migration to office 365 meant no duplicates on re-runs
we migrated from an offline edb to office 365 in stages over two weeks as we verified each batch. on every subsequent run EdbMails only migrated what was new since the last pass — nothing was duplicated in the target mailboxes regardless of how many times we ran the migration. that default incremental behaviour meant we could re-run as many times as we needed to verify results without creating a cleanup problem on the office 365 side.
