The credentials specified are invalid (302)

Problem:

The credentials specified are invalid (302): This error will appear if the specified URL uses the incorrect protocol (http vs https).

Solution:

Log in to Outlook web application (OWA).
Verify that the URL is having prefix http or https.
Compare the URL with the URL used for configuration.

In some circumstances, Exchange Web Services (EWS) may be configured to use https whereas OWA may be configured to use http (or vice versa). Verify the TLS/SSL configuration for the /OWA and /EWS virtual directory in IIS.
